Sheila A. Celentano, 43, of Franklin called 9-1-1 forunknown reasons. She appearedintoxicated upon officers making contact with her. She engaged officers by what she herselfdescribed as "karate kicks" and struck Patrolman Schneider andSergeant Robert Vander Ploeg in the performance of their duties. She continuedto fight with the officers and resist arrest throughout the entire encounter.
While in police custody, the female continued to kick andpunch Officer Schneider, causing damage to his portable radio.
Celentano was found to have a $500 criminal warrant fromDover Municipal Court for failing to appear to answer to a disorderly conductsummons.
